"Raphael's Cherubs"

I did these two pieces my freshman year in college. For this project we had to recreate a famous work of art in two different mediums. The first one was done in watercolor and the second was done in pen and ink. The pen and ink piece was created in an artistic style called stipple. Stipple is a style that consists of all dots, no lines. Both pieces are 41" x 34" and the


pen and ink piece took seventy-five hours. By the third day, everything I saw consisted of dots....
